I recall hearing "Blue Christmas" a lot during "the season" after the family returned from overseas in '58 and the tune always makes me think of my Mom, who insisted I do my best Jordanaires impression while we duetted to the tune on the radio.<br /><br />The other thing about the post... rivals for the object of one's affections. It's been a while since I experienced that sort of feeling, and it was interesting to consider it again.
