The second one I got about four years ago. The only trouble I've EVER had with either was when the first one began to have chunks of data missing. My ISP techie asked me if I had a notebook and if I was keeping it on all the time. Yes, I'd just started to do that. The parts are too small, he said, and they get hot and cut out, so it's always best to turn it off at night. Voila! Fixed, and nary another problem. They aren't cheap, but it seems to be a wonderfully reliable machine. (I hope this tribute doesn't jinx it.)Jeannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02133738961159875357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7867112187125913607.post-49736393517672589002012-12-11T14:58:02.772-06:002012-12-11T14:58:02.772-06:00Buck, I've decided to wait till after our Chri...Buck, I've decided to wait till after our Christmas traveling to TX to make the actual computer purchase. But as to type of OS and hardware package, I think your comment just might have tipped the scales. Literally see.

As for the Win-Mac bid'niz... SN1 made the switch a couple o' years ago and swears by 'em... what with owning a big-ass desk Mac and several iPads. Me? I still swear AT 'em. Think of the social stigma of bein' a Fanboi. That MIGHT help you decide.Buckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05319116022465066060noreply@blogger.com
