I just got this interesting video from my friend Jeanne. Take a look at it. View it more than once. It's an amazing graphic display of the current administration's failure to deal with the economic crisis, specifically unemployment. Note that the real action doesn't begin until 2008.

I posted this at the end of January this year and my county's unemployment rate was at <3.0%; now we're in the 5 - 5.9% range. It could be a WHOLE lot worse, though...
ReplyDeleteBuck, How 'bout this worse? The unemployment figure for August, 2010, for our county (Sumner) is a staggering 10.3. But you're right. There are plenty of places around that have even higher rates-Scot County in TN has our highest rate at 19.4. Let's hope this thing turns around soon.
