Happy Easter.

  1. Thanks for the video, Dan.

What a FRIEND, indeed! Maybe I'm just a really "weak" human...but I often find myself waking in the middle of the night, thanking God for Jesus.

Maybe it got just so drilled in to me as a child...

NOPE! The "Jesus" I was taught about as a child was not nearly the same "Jesus" that I REALLY got to know when the going got tough as an adult. Dan, if I got started, I'd never get finished, so I'll leave it at that.

(There is still a ferocious debate as to whether I AM an "adult" yet. Regardless of which of us is right, I'm at least becoming one. Maybe).

Beautiful guitar work, and the dogwoods are glorious. Ours bloomed down here WAY back. Odd Winter/Spring.

Hope you and Joyce enjoyed the day.

You know...we carry so much bad teaching/observation of people/etc. with us through our lives. And, those folks that were responsible for us really did have the best of intentions. I just love them all. It is days like today that I remember the old folks...the old Preachers/Teachers/Grandparents/etc.

They really did love us, and were doing the best they knew to do.

Actually, I think about them every day...not just on Easter, or Christmas, or Thanksgiving, or their birthdays, or...well, heck...I think about them every day.

Man...that comment really ran off the road, and cleaned out both the ditches!!!
