As Time Goes By

It's almost the middle of March already. Time slips away. Memories fade. But the human story stays the same. Guess I'm in a Casablanca mood.

It's still the same old story
A fight for love and glory
A case of do or die
The world will always welcome lovers

  1. I felt Bogart should never have played opposite Bergman, I would have liked to have seen Cary Grant. I miss Sydney Greenstreet, Claude Rains, Peter Lorre, etc. ah, the good old days. I wonder, is Casablanca out on Blu Ray?

  2. George, interesting idea about casting. I can see Grant in the role, but after all these years it is kind of hard to separate Bogie from it. And you are definitely right about Greenstreet, Rains, Lorre, etc. They were great. I am unsure if Casablanca is out on blue ray yet, but I will check. It would be a good one to add to the collection.
