Son, Daughter in law, and two grandsons arrived Tuesday night. Christmas is in full swing here.

ReplyDeleteJust a few days ago I mentioned my Grandmother (Munnie). She and Papaw always decorated their tree with bubble lights when I was a kid.
Man...all of us grandchirrens would just lay on the floor at their house on Schex Drive, and watch those things...and giggle...and get excited about what was in those packages.
Man! Good memories.
Dan, it seems that I saw a couple of years back that some company is making those things again. I started to look for some to buy, but we haven't put up a tree in almost 20 years (it's a long, fascinating, touching story that I won't bore you with), so I dropped the idea.

Yup, I remember the bubble-lights and I still put what few remained from my childhood on the trees I had as an adult. They're all gone now...
