Fats was the very first R&B guy I ever heard. The year was 1957; I was 12 years old at the time. It's no exaggeration to say that was a life-changing event... coz it was.

Buck, Fats probably changed a few other lives as well. I always put him right at the top with Elvis during those years. Most of my friends would've agreed.

You're welcome here anytime and I'll be stopping by your Southern and Right Proud site frequently. BTW, when I do music posts, most of the time it will be old Country and/or Bluegrass. The Blues post was an exception.
